Our research Enslaved Spaces Project seeks public assistance to continue building our work through dynamic research. It is our goal to provide an interactive multi-media website. That will consist of videos, pictures, and the voices of the griots from the different kingdoms in West and Central Africa.
How the Project Started
As of April 28, 2018, we embarked on our first research trip to Ghana to collect data. We are in the process of creating an oral history archive of various kingdoms this will be available to the public. We intend to educate and enlighten people about the rich history and culture of the griots, and the nobility of various kingdoms affected and affected by the slave trade. It is equally important we document the living memory of the slave trade from the perspective of the Africans. This site is always updating with new site information and will be indicted on the map when it was last updated. Please help us to continue our work. We thank you! Please support us through PayPal information below.
